If you provide Personal Information about another individual, you must ensure that you are authorised to do so and that the individual has received any required notice.
Where applicable law requires consent for the collection, use or disclosure of Personal Information or SPDI, AKM Wealth will obtain that consent in the manner required by applicable law.
Where processing is undertaken under the DPDP Act once the relevant provisions become applicable, AKM Wealth will process Personal Data only for a lawful purpose and on a permitted basis, including consent or a certain legitimate use, as applicable.
Where consent is the basis for processing, it will be specific, informed and unambiguous and relate to the specified purpose and Personal Data necessary for that purpose, as required by applicable law. Where applicable, you may withdraw consent through the mechanism made available by us.
Withdrawal will not affect processing already lawfully undertaken and will not prevent processing that we are required or permitted to continue under applicable law, regulation, contractual obligations or other permitted grounds.
If you do not provide information required by law, an AMC, RTA, KRA, bank or another authorised transaction participant, we may be unable to provide or continue the relevant service.
AKM Wealth may engage third-party service providers and Data Processors to support its mutual fund distribution, authorised transaction facilitation, investor servicing, client relationship management, website hosting, cloud storage, communications, cybersecurity, document management and other operational activities.
These service providers may process Personal Information only to the extent necessary to provide the relevant services and subject to applicable law, regulatory requirements and appropriate contractual confidentiality and security obligations.
AKM Wealth takes reasonable steps to require service providers and Data Processors acting on its behalf to process Personal Information only on its instructions, maintain confidentiality and apply appropriate security measures. Where a service provider engages a sub-processor, AKM Wealth takes reasonable steps to require appropriate confidentiality, security and data-protection obligations consistent with applicable law and contractual requirements.
We maintain reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect Personal Information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss, destruction and misuse.
Depending on the nature of the information and our operational requirements, these measures may include role-based access controls, authentication controls, secure transmission, restricted access, secure storage, backups, monitoring, staff training and incident-response procedures.
No electronic transmission or storage method is completely secure. You should use reasonable care when sending documents or instructions to us and promptly notify us if you suspect misuse of your information or unauthorized activity.
If we identify a suspected or actual Personal Data breach or cybersecurity incident, we will investigate, contain, assess and remediate it in accordance with our incident-response procedures.
Where applicable, AKM Wealth will report cybersecurity incidents, including reportable data breaches or data leaks, to CERT-In and other competent authorities within the timelines prescribed under applicable law and regulatory directions. We will notify affected individuals where required by law.
We retain Personal Information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including complying with legal, regulatory, contractual, accounting, audit, tax, dispute-resolution and record-keeping requirements.
Retention periods vary based on the type of information and applicable obligations. When information is no longer required, we will securely delete, destroy, anonymize or archive it in accordance with applicable requirements.
A request to delete information may not result in immediate or complete deletion where retention is required or permitted by law, regulation, contract, fraud-prevention requirements, audit needs or the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims.

Where the DPDP Act applies, an individual may also have the right to nominate another person to exercise applicable rights in the event of death or incapacity, subject to applicable law and our verification procedures.
Our services are not generally intended for children, except where services or transactions involving minors are legally permitted and appropriately authorized.
Where we process Personal Information relating to a child or a person with disability having a lawful guardian, we will seek verifiable consent from the parent or lawful guardian where required by applicable law. We will not knowingly undertake processes likely to cause detrimental effects to a child’s well-being.
AKM Wealth may use service providers or systems that process Personal Information outside India only where necessary and permitted by applicable law, regulatory requirements and contractual obligations.
Where an international transfer occurs, we will take reasonable steps to ensure that appropriate safeguards are applied and will comply with any applicable Indian restrictions, conditions or government notifications.

This privacy mechanism does not replace any mutual fund investor grievance process available through the relevant AMC, RTA, AMFI, SEBI or other authorized forum.
Nothing in this Privacy Policy limits or excludes any obligation imposed on AKM Wealth under applicable law, regulation, regulatory directions, AMC/RTA contractual requirements or other mandatory requirements.
Where there is a conflict between this Policy and a mandatory legal or regulatory requirement, the applicable legal or regulatory requirement will prevail.
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of India. Matters relating to privacy and Personal Information processing will be subject to applicable Indian law and the jurisdiction of competent authorities and courts, subject to any mandatory statutory or regulatory forum or mechanism.
